Hungry Grizzly
This grizzly swam out to this shallow part of the river because the tree trunk had many delicacies it could not get enough of.

The bear had been feeding and periodically checking on the level of the water. Snacks were good though and he pushed the time he left until the log had almost disappeared under water.

While slowly trawling up and down very close to shore in the Bute Inlet in BC this summer, we were treated to this lovely black bear foraging on the shoreline. Plenty of tasty morsels for it here.
